I have to relate this post to Delicacies Corner

Sorry I have to put this post under Delicacies Corner instead of the Main.

Just now when having dinner at Fang Yuan, there were a couple (looked like age ~23-28 yrs old) coming in when we were about to finish ours.

The lady was very tall ~174cm, with plastic-surgery-high-nose and big boobs (this one I am not sure liao) :) wearing cincai sleeveless top and short pants carrying a big bag, with sandals (very casual, without makeup pun). Beside her was a guy, so-so, slightly shorter than her, long sleeves shirt and long pants (like office wear), wearing specs (not the polite bookworm type) but also not very kasar like lan chai type lah.

Since the restaurant only got two tables occupied at that time, therefore it's quiet and we managed to hear what they ordered, but not every sentence k.

"Hmm....got any hai som dish?" The guy asked.
"Got....with scallop, hai bee all cooked in claypot".
"OK, one."
"Got that one green green colour one or not?"
"brocolli?"
"Er...nope..."
"xxx??"
"Yah! right! Pls cook with........."
On and off the lady also tup zhui and joked lah when the taukeh kai siao dishes to them. Her voice was very low type, like Michelle Lee (Lei Kar Yan) so sexy. :)
The taukeh sek chyuu siong," you guys want to eat bao yu chee (abalone soup) or not? cook with blah blah....."
"How much?" The guy asked.
"RM30."
"OK, get one. Got any other dishes to recommend?"
"How about Tofu?"
"Ya...good....ok...."

They ordered 4 to 5 dishes at the end. The bill should be ~RM70.

I could see that the lady was nodding - implying "Yes" everytime when the guy placed the order. She was satisfied.

I looked at this couple. I si peh yan seong this guy lah for his generosity. He was chasing this lady (I think not at the initial stage odi loh) and he really was not kiam siap in treating his lady good meals. I did not mean "good" by looking at what they ordered, but it's the 'sim' and sincerity that I should say - this guy was making an effort as what a NORMAL guy should do.

Fyi, this Fang Yuan is not a high class restaurant lah, just a normal small restaurant which is ...I should say that gradually going down the slope already since dikalahkan oleh Double Gd. Price wise, my table with 3 adults + 1 kid only RM35 (we got the hai som too).

That reminded me of ......... not only one, but a few LCL who behaved totally kiam ku that you can only react by ...
(a) turned speechless, totally shocked.
(b) pui chao nuar.
(c) shaking head, mou ngan tai.
(d) don't-you-ever-asking-me-to-look-back
(e) All above

I guess by one day when I am freelance later, may be I can start writing a novel and tell all of you the stories. :)

Sorry to be mean, but I just couldn't help it *#%x#*! when I witnessed today how a guy is treating a lady. It's a knife cut on me.

The Like's and Dislike's

The other night this fellow was talking about his dislikes (mainly on ppl's behaviour or attitude) and most of us were astonished at what and how he reacted to it.

I started to think about what I dislike.

I dislike....
ppl who always take take take and seldom offer.
ppl who always act like she/he knows lotsa things and lack of humbleness.
ppl who is big mouth.
ppl who is stingy.
ppl who likes to pick on ppl's words and stir on it.
ppl who likes to act - faking herself as noble.
ppl who is extremely biased towards one thing.
ppl who always claimed he is not materialistic (you know... by mouth nia).
ppl who has affair with 窝边草.

安啦! I am not 圣人. I dislike ppl, ppl dislikes me too.:)

Ladies, be shu nu.

Lei Kar Yan (cantonese) has always been many guys' lui shan (queen). I was kinda curious (ok, 8 kuar lah) on how she 爆粗 and how 粗 is 粗. Since the newspaper big big title write like that...mana boleh lepaskan heh?! Teng teng teng teng, that's this one that I searched. Go!

So ladies, make sure the next time you want to scold somebody, don't scold over the phone. Hmm...of coz not only restricted to super rich man/woman lah since nowadays telephone recording can be pretty normal right?! But hey, he or she may be equipped with this kind of tool also if you scold him / her face to face, and you won't know too right?!

Hmm...how leh? Either you fat lan char / fire/ shoot / scold in 'good' decent manner or you SWALLOW all lah. Breathe in breathe out.....be patient.....forgive forgive forgive.......

Can or not?! for me, I think like that I will kuk hei and die faster loh. :p

mobile cooking

During the progress of renovation last time, we were thinking of using a portion of the extended part to become a second kitchen aka outdoor kitchen. Too bad it couldn’t be done at last due to the space was occupied by plan B.

Now everything has almost settled down. It’s been 1 mth already. It’s time for us to find a way to add in this 'mobile' kitchen. It's been our dream since long long time ago to be able to tua char tua boo like siao at outside and don’t have to care about the ‘oil smoke’ (油烟)problems at indoor kitchen!

We have been to the shop near our house to take a look at the cheap 'mobile' stove as well as make an enquiry from the stainless steel stove maker off Penang Road to make a proper one like restaurant/kopitiam use one with rollers that type.~RM360 vs RM1360 / RM1600 (depends on whether you want full board underneath or only bars). Argh! I understood from them that the price has jumped 3x since one year ago!

Today when I got back home, Oops! Lou ma chee has bought the cheap 'mobile' stove. Nah, this one loh, no roda at its legs one but it's actually very light only, can be moved easily. Ai........RM1k difference wor, what to do leh?!

Don't care liao lah! As long as can cook outside don't care so much duh. Cooking kappa outside and don't have to care about the 油烟 or 刺鼻辛辣味! *just imagine this alone I also can yum yum zhui siew liao!*

Hope that my 'cooking mission' will be a success this year!

Liak Kappa

Yesterday 4x of us went to Teluk Kumbar to liak kappa after work! It was a last-minute decision made during our morning breaktime, mind you. :) We went there with office wear and used the rubber band to 'sok' our pants up. :)

I told the rest that after this time of liak kappa session, "I will appreciate every BIJI of kappa I eat next time, coz now I know that catching them are really 粒粒皆辛苦!"

Penang Electronics Symposium

Today I attended the Penang Electronics Symposium organized by Chiptronics, held at EQ.

Hmm....the door gift, mou tak teng ah! A very solid bag that comes with lots of compartments, for you to keep your laptop, two bottles of water containers and a lot more stuffs .

This symposium was pretty good as it's not like the ordinary seminar/symposium which was held for long hours / whole day long with many ppl sitting together in a hall. *yawning*

It was held in four different rooms with different speakers carrying our their presentation at the same time. It's up to you to choose which one you want / interested to join. One of the co-organizers said that he brought back what was practised in China.

I like the first speaker who talked about the range & causes of lead free soldering defects! Very informative and educational. He managed to cope with both the layman and technical terms with 'not-boring' way of elaboration. Too sayang not enough time for him and he got to skip many slides! Hmm...I rated him as the best out of all.

Well, makan har...OK. Free flow of food and drinks were served from the starting of registration, during and after every break - throughout the whole symposium, buffet lunch, then till the end - carlsberg or cocktails were served, ah ha! I didn't take any after lunch lah coz I was full. :)

At the end there was this lucky draw session with very keng chao prizes one. F1 tickets, digicam,nokia h/p, ipod, USB port, memory sticks & etc. They were more ho liao than our annual dinner prizes.

I really wonder how much $ they sponsored for this type of symposium?! :)

To me it's an eye opener. It's very educational! Hope they will do it again next year lah.

Can you live w/o internet? I got a whole lots of them who can.

Updates :

YC - 1 daughter's mum. A busy 'administrator' now awaiting official 'title' for her promotion. She went for Jolin's concert(!).
HC - 3 daughters' mum. Eldest being 5 yrs old. Full time housewife and mother. Shang4 an4 liao. She cabut early.
LK - 2 daughter's mum. Very kek khi on her tuition thingy, telling a lot of her kek khi stories to us.
EP - As usual with her family business. Xin guang ti pang. From what I see she is the most 'hok seong' and 'face with glow' out of all. Boh zhao heng. She cabut early.
WM - As usual in Dell. People kept telling her of being too skinny.
Lil - Not yet over 6-month-confirmation period in Komag.
Lena - Shared her tour trips to us - Europe, Turkey, Bali etc. Jolin alike sexy babe.
Bingzhou - Titled 'PJM'. No improvement yet :)
Irene - Not coming don't know why. Due to deliver soon (2nd one) in Apr.
CL - Asked me to help her announce her wedding dinner gonna be on 20/10/07 at Penang Cititel, wedding ceremony 27/10/07 at Johor.

Some of them already heng cheok cheok on going down for Jacky Cheung's concert in KL later in May/Jun(?!).

All agreed to have another makan gathering on next Saturday at Hai Lor. Ei seng beh seng, unknown yet.

Bike is back

After 4 days then only I took it back. Swey hor me?! Putting there is safer than putting over here mah.

Tyres changed. Brake pads changed. Chain changed. Oh gosh, my meter did not work wor! Too long never use also rosak liao. Gotto change also loh. This new one is cateye brand miti8, tang pun loh! Damn, over budget liao lah. ~RM250 gone !

Today the shop taukeh was there. Gosh, I was asked about my last 'accident' AGAIN loh. Wah lau, ppl remembered me due to my fall. ARGH! orr tao lah!

I was so f* damn bz after work! Got the bike then renov got problem stuck with the workers till 8.p.m. then only we could go for dinner and got to wait for very long time, served finally at 9.00pm.! :(

Successfully hunted for Sarawak Laksa!

People go shopping as first priority then followed by makan. For me, my food hunt is of first priority then only followed by shopping (if want to).

Yahoo!!! I have finally able to 'chee gian' on Sarawak Laksa! hahaha! :) Here you go!

Mood became very good after finished having the long awaiting Sarawak Laksa in Penang. We ended up at Pacific buying the items below for my mum and myself. FYI, boutique paul/green at megamall is a shop selling shoes at cheap price.

This morning I sent my mountainbike to the bicycle shop opposite SS for repair and replacement of parts. The Lim bicycle shop.

The tau chiu just started to open shop.
"Hi, taukeh, XX kai siao me coming here one. Need your help to take a look on my bike lah, need some replacement lah.It's in my car."
"OK, no problem".
I kelam-kabut find no way to take out the bike.
"I forgot how to take out the front wheel lah, so I straighaway put the whole piece in here, haha!"
While he took out the rim for me, "This bike seemed very long time never touch odi wor."
"Ya loh, it's been ~ 2 yrs liao. Last time I joined SGA group one lah."
"Oh, you joined Ong they all one ah?"
"Ya."
"Oh......I remember liao. The one fell down then was not ALLOWED to cycle anymore one." he said.
*I nearly fainted when he suddenly blurted so*
Anyway, this is what they assumed lah all this while by saying I was NOT ALLOWED to cycle. Ha!
"Haha! Ya lah ya lah, you know also ah, it's me loh!" *si peh pai sey, trying to find a hole*
I explained, "Well, I was bz jaga kids lah, so really did not have the mood and time to spare out for this. Now the kids are getting bigger so I may consider resume soon, that's why I come now. Getting ready." I told him so.
Then I said," Ah ha....I remember you liao, you are the kid who followed us last time, wow...you grow up so tall already,hardly recognize you! You become taukeh here odi ah?"
"No lah, relative one. Neh, the one last time you always fetched your bike going there with Kenari one...Ah, we closed there and moved to here."
"Oic, yao chin tou wor."


"You replace the chain for me please. Rusty already."
"Well, this one no need to change also can wor. I can do for you."
"You just change lah. I felt very insecure. Safety comes first ah.Then the tyres, tubes, if need to change also change lah."
"OK, chain about ~RM60. Let me check first. Tyres, see got crack liao, need also."
"Can you give me tyres less kasar mia bunga one ah, this one took me too much strength to pedal lah, tak larat."
"Ya, this one is really rough. Nah, this one (~RM50 each wheel), your kaki all use this type."
"OK lah, tube leh, my pouch here got one spare tube lah, if need to change, change also lah."
"Tubes right? If after checking still OK no punctured anything, then no need. How about these brake pads ? harden already wor? Nah, this one (~RM10 each pair)."
"Change also lah. This pedal slightly rusty leh, got better one without this type of gigi or not? painful leh everytime when kena."
"Got...nah, these two..." (he showed me the one ~RM50, RM60 one also got gigi)
"Aiyah, wait. You calculate for me how much I need to spend first with whatever you just now said one, can ah? Want to know the budget lah. If not later got to pay RM500 for all. :) Let me check out whether if I can tahan still with these pedals."
Aiyah, after considering twice, pedal keep lah, don't want change liao.

"You got provide re-painting service or not? Some parts the paint worn out liao."
"No wor, sorry...I'll polish and clean it for you lah don't worry."
"OK lah. I take this silicon spray first. Need it now. The rest I kao tim with you when I come back to collect."
"OK, you can come and take in the afternoon."
"Oh NO, jup ! You do it slowly slowly har Ah Bar, take your time. I'll take next week after work. You open till what time?"
"9p.m."
"OK, you do it slowly har.I am not in hurry one. House got no place to put also now.:) "
He laughed, "Alright!".

Hopefully in time ...

Two weeks more and it gonna be CNY already. I really mou ngan tai loh with the status. The car porch flooring just about to get started. The wall etc was only halfway painting. The soil, grass and etc need time to tidy up and trim also kua. The gate leh cannot be done wor coz it supposed to queue at the last.

For the side part, all the lightings etc are not yet up. The aqua all not yet installed. The tank not yet sourced.

Not only day time we got to jaga, night time also got to jaga them for some little bit and there installation.

If all these are not finished how are we supposed to clean? External can be kao tim by them, but internal one we got to spend at least a few days too leh. Cleaning now is a waste of time and energy as they still on and off access the internal part. Washing machine one day can clean how many curtains, linings and etc ah?!

Don't tell me it gonna repeat like what happened last year loh (you ppl should know what happened lah), up until the very last min then only we were able to go and cincai buy some food stuff . It was just one or two days before CNY.

Long Island Cocktail

My i-mobile kang tao has confirmed to be null and void after I heng cheok cheok going down to Audees on Sat night to get the info.

Well, nvm, lost the opportunity of earning side income but gained the experience on Long Island cocktail. Two jars ordered but I drank less than 2 glasses due to ABV info unknown mah. (kia si lah :p )

Hmm....I searched for the recipe thru internet. Ah ha, no wonder lah, ~30% ABV leh man. Can feel it leh.

The renov thing is really poisoning me bit by bit....killing me slowly. It affects my daily life my mood my everything. I cannot tahan tau, very torturing leh, it's the 5th week already. I was told all this got to drag another one week in order to wait for that chiuk sai. Another one week!! Argh!

This is definitely not a good start of a new year.
First day - my card was eaten by the deposit machine.
Second day - that car was knocked front and back by its driver (bloody shit driver whom I don't want to mention lah) and I got to booooo like hell kao tim in police station and car service & repair center etc.

You people know already lah I like to throw and tidy up things one. On and off you people will be saying 'chi kei lor fu lei san one lah you' when hearing that I am doing that AGAIN. Well, I can not stand things to be untidy mah. I know some of you have already said that it's OK, but still......for me, there must be accumulatively some things bound to be out of the track, not placed properly etc, right?! *Siao liao this cha bor* *roll eyes* ?!

I've been doing the cleaning and throwing chores for 3 rooms over the last two days. All started due to the servicing and relocation of those air conds lah. If possible, I hardly place many things outside that will end up easily collecting dust and need washing and cleaning often etc lah. So now with the kids around, I ought to be even more careful. This time I took this opportunity to keep whatever can be hidden from their hands one inside the cabinets all, I mean, aside from those already properly kept long long time ago. I keep and hide more this round. *Siao liao this cha bor* *roll eyes again*?!

Hahahahaha! zhao for yap mor liao! :p
